C-STAR and the Aphasia Lab at the University of South Carolina host an annual Aphasia Community Event (ACE). This event is open to people with aphasia, their family members,and anyone interested in aphasia. This year, our guest speaker will be Dr Argye Hillis. Dr Hillis is a speech pathologist and neurologist, at Johns Hopkins University. She will be speaking onLiving Well with Aphasia.
The live event is on Monday, March 21st between 12 - 3PM (US Eastern Time, ET) at Segra Park in Columbia, South Carolina. However, Dr Hillis' talk will be at 1pm ET, and you can attend this talk virtually as well, via zoom. To receive the zoom link, you will need to register. Note that this will not be a regular 'C-STAR-style' talk, but specifically aimed at people who have aphasia themselves, as well as their friends, family, and caregivers.
